Pool Monitor

Community pools are intended to be used by the community's residents and their guests.  Despite posted signs, many neighboring residents make use of the community pools as if the community pools were their own.  Such infringement angers many community residents who pay their dues only to be left with overcrowded amenities.

Property managers are not only taunted by trespassers, but also by those individuals who fail to follow safety rules.  Individuals who violate safety rules not only endanger their own safety, but also the safety of those around them. Furthermore, property managers have to deal with damage caused by vandals who in many cases are non-residents of the communities.

Our pool monitoring security officers can (among other things):

• issue pool passes and check for them
• maintain a log of those who enter the pool area
• manage liability release forms
• inform or remind pool users of established rules

In addition to assigning pool monitoring security officers, a member of our management team meets with the community's board to discuss issues pertaining to safety and security of the community.  Our manager offers solutions to their issues and collaborates with property managers to develop an effective access control policy that community's board will support.  When requested, the Accolade Security, Inc., manager managing the account attends additional board meetings to offer updates and discuss pending issues.

Although our pool monitoring security officers are not lifeguards, they are able to promote a safe environment due to their ability to recognize hazards and enforce policies.  In addition, their presence serves as a deterrent to vandalism.  Our pool monitoring security officers are CPR certified and have all the training of a security officer.
